Since 2000, Dr. Ho’s group at Purdue University has helped companies and research groups worldwide to ferment their hydrolysates and help them to refine their processes for extracting sugars from cellulosic biomass.  This service is now provided by GTA.  The various graphs (figures) shown here demonstrate how efficiently the various Ho-Purdue Yeast strains (now marketed by GTA) ferment pure glucose and xylose as well as glucose/xylose extracted from various kinds of cellulosic biomass provided to GTA by various companies.
